J. Matthew Sims is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Economist who has focused since 2000 in areas of vocational rehabilitation, lost earning capacity, individual forensic economics, small business valuations, and damage analysis. He has worked on 75-150 litigated cases per year. He earned his Master of Counseling degree from the University of Phoenix in 1999 and his Master of Science in Economics from Arizona State University in 2005. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona, as well as a National Certified Counselor.
Lora K. White, RN, BSN, CNLCP, CCM, MSCC
Medical Services Consultant & Life Care Planner
Lora K. White is a Registered Nurse who has actively prepared life care plans for both plaintiff and defense since 2003. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1993 from the University of Utah and presently holds certifications as a Case Manager, Medicare Set Aside Consultant, and Life Care Planner. She has worked in the hospital, inpatient case management, acute rehabilitation, home care, and worker's compensation settings and continues to work in the home care field. She currently prepares an average of 75 to 100 care plans per year and is a contributing author to the upcoming textbook on life care planning being published by the AANLCP.
Thomas M. Mitchell, PhD, CRC, CDMS, CEA - Retired
Vocational Consultant/Forensic Economist
Dr. Thomas Mitchell has lived in Arizona since childhood and has graduated from both the University of Arizona and Arizona State University. After a career in banking as a Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer, he started a practice of Vocational Rehabilitation and Job Placement in 1974. As a thirty year plus employee with Crawford & Company, where he managed offices in both California and Arizona, his practice expanded to include providing services as an expert witness in the areas of vocational rehabilitation, loss of earning capacity, life care planning, and forensic economics. His services are currently being utilized by insurance carriers, employers, attorneys, and both state and federal governmental agencies. Dr. Mitchell received his terminal degree in clinical psychology and his masters degree in counseling. He is also a commercially rated helicopter, single engine and multi-engine pilot.
